At Capital One Travel, our goal is to make the airport travel experience more seamless and efficient for our customers—from booking to boarding and beyond. To maintain our best-in-class guest experience, we’ve developed innovative digital features to manage Capital One Lounge capacity and better serve the needs of our customers.

Enter the Capital One Lounge digital waitlist tool, where eligible Venture X and Venture X Business Primary cardholders can view capacity in real time and, if needed, join the waitlist—all through the Capital One Mobile app.

To take it a step further, the new Capital One Landing at Washington Reagan National (DCA) Airport offers the digital waitlist tool and access to advance reservations for Venture X and Venture X Business Primary cardholders.

The digital waitlist tool and advance reservations help eligible guests plan ahead by following these easy steps:

  1. Sign in to the Capital One Mobile app and select Travel (denoted by an airplane icon), located within the Explore Rewards & Benefits tile

  2. Once on the Travel page, select Lounges in the top right corner

  3. Below the Search Bar, select a Lounge location to view capacity and wait times

If the selected Capital One Lounge or Capital One Landing is on a waitlist, Venture X and Venture X Business primary cardholders will be able to join digitally by following these steps: 

  1. Select Join Waitlist

  2. Enter your name, phone number and party size

  3. Slide the button to join

After joining the waitlist, guests can return to the Lounge location page to view their confirmation and anticipated wait time.

When it’s time to enter the Lounge, guests will receive a notification via text to visit front desk reception. Once notified, guests must arrive within the specified grace period to keep their spot in line. Guests can submit their arrival status in the Capital One Mobile app to let Lounge staff know if they’re on the way, running late, have already arrived or are no longer coming. Guests are still able to join the waitlist in person and will be notified via text when it’s their turn to enter. 

Venture X and Venture X Business Primary cardholders may join the waitlist for parties of up to six guests.

At the new Capital One Landing at Washington Reagan National (DCA) Airport, Venture X and Venture X Business Primary cardholders can also make a reservation in advance of their trip from within the Capital One Mobile app:

  1. Select the ‘Make a reservation’ button, which will automatically log you into the Capital One Dining portal
  2. Select your date, time, and party size for the reservation
  3. Confirm the reservation

You will receive a confirmation email at the time of booking, as well as a reminder email 24 hours in advance. When you arrive at the Landing, simply let the host know that you have a reservation. Hosts will be unable to hold tables past the specified grace period. If a reservation is not available for the date and time you are looking for, you can walk-in or join the digital waitlist upon arrival.

Reservations may be made for parties of four or less. Venture X and Venture X Business Primary cardholders enjoy complimentary access for themselves and one guest. Additional guests may enter at a discounted rate of $45 to be paid upon entry.
